THE FASHION POLICE
I was friends with Coco Chanel for a long time until I heard Johnny Walker say, Keep walking and do not look back. Gutted, I took a step back from all the sales drama and two steps forward off to a fashion show strutting down the catwalk in my Levi’s jeans, red cap, and Prada shoes, looking for fun and laughter. It would be a night to remember, and no one would spoil my Happy Hour. So, I thought.
That’s when Yin Yang, my ex, showed up and stole the color from my Vuitton. I felt like a Floss and needed to see my shrink. So, I went to visit Dr. Martins, who was eager to help and offered me some Gucci advice. The next day, I was high on Diesel again while roaming up Vanity Fair looking for True Religion when the Fashion Police spotted me.
It happened on the way to the Ritz, next to the Holiday Inn. And before I could make a DKNY down Fifth Avenue, the officers in blue Signaled me and demanded to see my fashion labels. Officers, please, I do not have an Armani with you. I’m Loreal, and if you give me your Parker, I will Rolex sign anything you want.
Unimpressed, they stood there like Hugo Boss in Hush Puppies. Their Ray-Ban look gave me the Fear of God. My legs started to melt like Quick Silver under their Urban Expression, and their Tribal Theory turned my Ambeance into Decay. So, I reached for my Apple and phoned Versace. Hello, dear, I am in deep Dior and might need to spend the night behind bars for not following Vogue’s hottest trends. Please tell Hermès I am sorry.
Embarrassed again, I started to cry. That’s when the fine officers chose to let me off with just a warning and an Xtreme makeover voucher from Xoxo. But like any good American, I decided to visit ShineAndre, the new kid on the block, where art and fashion lovers love to shop and complement each other.
A Poem by Andre @shinendre

“Pandora’s Box of Poems is a sacred and peculiar book, sealed with pages filled with ancient wisdom and satire, for lovers of poetry.”
What’s inside? You want to know? Take a peek; don’t be afraid. Do you dare to open it when they tell you, “Don’t open Pandora’s box”?
