We Believe

Faith without works is dead.

  1. We believe in the Word of God, the letter, and the Inspired as eternal. The heavens and the earth will pass away but the Word of the Lord remains forever.
  2. We believe that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path so we don’t have to stumble in darkness nor be deceived by the cunning of wicked men.
  3. We believe and confess both the Old and New Testaments scriptures, in their original writing, as fully inspired of God and accepted as supreme and final authority for our faith and mission in life;
  4. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit: For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one 1 John 5.
  5. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
  6. We believe that God created man in His own image; that man sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of sin, which is physical and spiritual death; that all man fall short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation by grace through faith.
  7. With regard to sexuality, we believe in heterosexual relationships between a man and a woman within the confines of lawful matrimony.
  8. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of justice served through his shed blood.
  9. We believe that all who believe in Jesus Christ and are baptised shall be saved. A man must be born again to receive the promise of the Holy Spirit.
  10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, His ascension into Heaven, and His present life as our High Priest and Advocate;
  11. We believe in the promised return of the Lord Jesus Christ at the end of the tribulation period, and the rapture of the church according to the scripture to escape the coming wrath of God.
  12. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for service, with the accompanying gifts of the Holy Spirit; and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
  13. We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation;
  14. We believe in the Baptism in water as an act of faith and obedience, and the Lord’s Supper as perpetual witnesses to the our faith in remembrance of His death, until he comes.
  15. We believe that divine healing was provided for in the Old and New Testaments, and is an integral part of the Gospel.
  16. We believe that the bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of the new birth and continuing until the consummation of salvation.
  17. We believe in the divinely ordained five-fold ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. We believe the Holy Scriptures is part of the election process of elders and deacons as part of the leadership structure within the church. All membership are subject to submission to this authority in matters pertaining to Church governance, doctrine and personal behaviour as guided by Scripture.
  18. We believe that Leadership of the local church has the authority from the scriptures to withdraw the membership of any member for serious, unrepentant misconduct or similar cause as guided by (Matthew 18:16-20; 1 Corinthians 5:1-12; Galatians 6:1; Titus 3:10).
  19. We believe in the Rapture of the Church before the seven year Apocalypse. (1 Thessalonians 4:13 – 5:11. Matthew 25; Revelation 3:3,20; Luke 17:24; Revelation 4;1; Genesis 5:24)
